Where it all Began

In 1935, at the age of eight, Yitzhak arrived in Jerusalem after immigrating from Germany with his family. With talent and ambition, at the early age of 15, he started his studies in Art at the prestigious ‘Bezalel Academy of Design’ and completed the four-year course in only three! Soon after graduating at Bezalel, his Chanukah Menorah design won him the 1st prize in a design competition. This enabled him to purchase some of his first tools and machines, starting a small workshop in his basement. Thus began Bier Judaica.

With his vast achievements in design and industry and his contribution to society, Yitzhak Bier was recognized by Jerusalem and its residents and received the prestigious ‘Worthy Citizen of Jerusalem’ prize in 2019. For Yitzhak, Judaica was more than business, it was his way of giving back to Jerusalem and her people.

Our products are infused with history, family, design, Judaism, and Zionism. We invite you to carry our tradition forward into your homes and lives for generations to come.

Our family staff is here to continue with the values of original designs, high-quality workmanship, and service. All for our valued customers’ satisfaction.

Today, his sons Mordechai and Meir Bier, who joined in the 1980s, stand at the head of the workshop. In 2015, Yoseph, a third-generation joined the family legacy.

We are here to ensure the relevance of Judaica in an ever changing world. Our vision combines tradition with Hidur Mitzvah, alongside technological development and the use of advanced contemporary working methods. All this to continue to ensure products at the highest level of design and production.
